Y'all, I have never needed a vacation this badly in my entire life. All I want is to be back home in the Mediterranean, eating fresh figs and pomegranates, sitting in the sun, and letting my hair curl up into an absolute frizzy mess.
Also, completely unrelated but kind of related, who's been to Ireland? And who's willing to share their itinerary with me? I'm collecting recommendations, so don't be shy.
Now, if you're also itching to get out of town, I've got something for you. We're giving away the Craig Morgan Nashville Experience for his November 7 show at Ryman Auditorium. A little country music in Music City sounds like a pretty good excuse to pack a bag. Throw your name in the running.*
JUST ANNOUNCED
Boosie & Webbie are trading the club for the orchestra! Celebrate 20 years of Bad Azz and Savage Life on December 26 at Smart Financial Centre. Pull out your fanciest outfit because Southern hip-hop is getting the black-tie treatment.
Lost Lands and EDC favorite LAYZ is bringing her bone-rattling dubstep to Ductwork on February 13. Expect filthy drops and absolutely no chill. Give your ears a preview with "SHOCKWAVE" before experiencing the real thing.
Dark humor, questionable characters, and ridiculously catchy synth-pop? That's Alex Cameron for you. He's taking over White Oak Music Hall on March 29. Come for the music, stay for whatever strange little story he's telling.
If you grew up listening to Keith Sweat, you already know this man practically invented begging through a microphone. He's joined by Kut Klose at Smart Financial Centre on December 20. Take your favorite R&B lover along for the ride.
Plus other just announced shows in Houston!

Excuse me while I go to HEB for some fruit, sit on my balcony, close my eyes, and pretend like I'm in Cyprus, the country, and not Cypress, Texas.
Cheers,
