• Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are bringing Rush back to Houston for the Fifty Something Tour at Toyota Center on October 1. Fifty years of music, two full sets, and one VERY good reason to break out the air drums.

• From billions of plays on his viral “Makeba” remix to stages at Tomorrowland and Lollapalooza, Ian Asher knows how to get people moving. He takes over Ductwork on October 17. Wear shoes you can actually dance in.

• Detroit is coming to Houston. Skilla Baby brings The Price of Fame Tour to House of Blues Houston on November 2 with his smooth-but-hard-hitting Midwest sound. Monday night just got significantly less responsible.

• Part rave, part horror movie, all bass. GHENGAR, the darker and much heavier alter ego of Ghastly, takes over Ductwork on January 16. If distorted basslines and sinister drops sound therapeutic to you, congratulations on your plans.
