Houston is now home to one of only three locations in the entire country, which means we all owe a collective "thank you, Matt" for bringing this gem to his hometown. • Some people start planning Christmas in December. John Waters fans apparently start in June. A John Waters Christmas comes to The Heights Theater on December 15 with enough dark humor, holiday absurdity, and beautifully strange storytelling to make Buddy the Elf clutch his pearls.

• FKJ takes over Bayou Music Center on June 11, 2027 with hypnotic instrumentals, genre-blurring sounds, and a live show that somehow feels both intimate and massive. Leave your stress at the door and let the man cook.
