• There’s a new soccer-themed entertainment district being built in South Houston ahead of the World Cup, and while Houstonians are already side-eyeing whether it’ll actually be finished in time ⚽️😭, it still sounds like a fun addition either way. The plans include watch parties, restaurants, pickleball, padel courts, and basically a giant hangout spot for people who want somewhere to eat, drink, and be outside. Even if the World Cup timing flops a little, the concept still feels like an addition to Houston’s culture.
