It’s Tuesday and I finally have some midweek plans. I’ve been dying to see PinkPantheress live and she’s here tomorrow, so that is officially my reset. I just need one solid night to check out, listen to good music, and not think about anything else for a bit.

And speaking of nights you don’t want to miss, this one is for the icons. TLC, Salt-N-Pepa, and En Vogue are taking over The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on October 4. Enter now for your chance to win a pair of tickets.

JUST ANNOUNCED

  • If Amy’s Ice Cream is already part of your routine, this is for you. Win a year of free scoops, a large cake, and some merch to match. Go ahead and enter to win before someone else does.*

  • Warehouse Live is hosting 42 Dugg and Babyface Ray on July 7 and it is shaping up to be one of those nights you will hear about after. Lock in and be there.

  • Silverstein and Story Of The Year take over White Oak on August 1 with a lineup that feels straight out of your old playlists. It is one of those nights you you really don’t want to miss. See you in the mosh pit.

  • Radney Foster hits Main Street Crossing on November 5 for a night of storytelling and Texas sound. Grab your tickets and catch the show.

TRIVIA NIGHTS IN HOUSTON

I kind of think we should make Trivia Night Tuesdays a thing. Like actually commit, pick a team name, and show up ready. Maybe even dress for the theme if there is one. It feels like an easy excuse to drink during the week. Grab a group, split some snacks, and see how competitive everyone gets. Just a suggestion, but I pulled together some trivia nights around Houston so you can make it happen.

IN THE FUTURE

LOCALS ONLY

  • I’ve been following Project Row Houses and if you still aren’t following them, please go and do it now! They have so many amazing events for music, food, DJs, art, the list goes on…

Seeing Flyleaf touring, right after we got hit with Hawthorne Heights, is really reminding me of how emo I was in high school and how I thought my world was constantly collapsing (still is tbh). What was your flavor in high school?
