Hello and happy Monday! I made it back from Austin yesterday after doing what I do best: thrifting. But can someone please explain when Goodwill got so expensive? I found things that were literally two dollars cheaper than buying them brand new. Isn't the whole point of thrifting... to save money? Maybe this is a hot take, but that should absolutely be illegal.

• Houston is investing big in its parks. The new Let's Play Houston initiative will bring $60 million in improvements to 25 neighborhood parks across all 11 city council districts. On top of that, Discovery Green and MacGregor Park are also getting major upgrades, from new playgrounds to improved entrances and facilities.
