• Houston proved once again that soccer is bigger than the final score. After Mexico's heartbreaking loss to England, hundreds of El Tri fans kept the party going in the streets with flags, chants, music, and nonstop pride. More than 20,000 supporters packed Shell Energy Stadium for the watch party, turning EaDo into a sea of green long before kickoff. Win or lose, the energy never disappeared. Honestly, that's one of my favorite parts about having the World Cup in Houston.
