Daily Email - Monday - 04/27/26

This weekend was fully booked and I am still recovering. Two best friend birthdays, a full plant convention lap, running my small business, and somehow staying outside long enough to get attacked by every lovebug in Houston. I don’t know who approved this level of activity, but we made it through.

If you are going to do another packed weekend, at least make it a good one. Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival takes over May 15 through 17 with a full lineup and plenty to keep you moving all day. This is the one you plan around. Enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets to go with a special someone!

JUST ANNOUNCED

  • The Body takes over White Oak Music Hall on August 1. Expect something heavy, loud, and fully immersive. This is not casual listening, it is a full set you feel start to finish. Get your tickets.

  • Kill Tony, the live podcast, comes to Smart Financial Centre on October 17. Comedians get pulled from the bucket and perform on the spot in front of a full crowd. Want to see it unfold in real time? Grab your seats now.

  • PJ Morton brings the Saturday Night Sunday Morning Tour to Bayou Music Center October 30. Houston gets one night with this set. Don’t miss your window.

  • Streetlight Manifesto returns to Warehouse Live Midtown on November 14. Ska and punk together on stage with a set that keeps momentum from the first song to the last. Join the floor.

  • Plus other just announced shows!

CINCO DE MAYO CELEBRATIONS

Cinco de Mayo in Houston is stacked this year. Think rooftop parties with DJs, dance floors that stay full, local markets, and hands-on workshops if you want something different. You can start early, keep it moving, and end somewhere loud. Whether you’re here for margaritas or just need a plan, this guide has you covered with a full list of what’s worth showing up for.
