Daily Email - Monday - 04/06/26

Happy Mondayyy. I need to tell you about my weekend because it genuinely had me side-eyeing everyone in my life. I’m talking backstabbers, fake energy, and people smiling in my face while plotting on me.

And then I remembered. It was because I willingly sat down for a five-hour dinner party where we played The Traitors in real life. Fully unwell behavior. You know how everyone watches those shows and thinks they’d dominate? Yeah… no. I went in as the most loyal faithful, even banished a traitor, and still got taken out in the second to last round. The traitors had it out for me bad. 😭

Which honestly brings me to something I do need you to trust me on because I have a recommendation for you. John Crist Live is coming to Cullen Performance Hall on April 18, and you can enter for a chance to win tickets. Take a friend that you can form an alliance with before the night begins.*

JUST ANNOUNCED

  • Win your way into Latido Festival at Sam Houston Race Park on April 10. One of those events where you show up for a bit and end up staying way longer than planned.*

  • Don’t wait on this one, An Evening With David Byrne is happening at Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land on April 24. It’s giving thoughtful, immersive, and something a little different than your usual night out.*

  • Culture Wars is coming October 23 and they are taking us back to the nostalgic 2000s when Viva La Bam was airing on MTV and white boys were in garage bands and skateparks. Get your tickets to feel that era just one more time.

  • If you absolutely hate it when people start talking about Christmas so far out, then you’re going to hate me… because the Nutracker! Magical Christmas Ballet is coming December 29 and we are SO EXCITED. Meet you there?

  • Plus other just announced shows from Billy Bob Thornton, Blue Öyster Cult,  and more!

🔥 TRENDING:

So if there’s one thing we learn this week it’s this: Trust no one at dinner parties, but absolutely trust me when it comes to your weekend plans. I might not survive a round of The Traitors, but I will always point you toward a good time.

Go make some alliances, eat your weight in crawfish, and maybe keep a tiny bit of skepticism in your back pocket just in case. See you out there 💋
