If y’all liked my little "steal my itinerary" segment last week, here’s this weekend’s edition ✨
Tonight? Absolutely nothing. I’ll be at Habibi Bazaar working on the least glamorous part of small business ownership and making rugs in the studio. Tomorrow, I’ll be scrolling through our Pride guide trying to figure out which events I can realistically attend before overcommitting myself.
And on Sunday, one of my friends, Bre Stings, is celebrating the grand opening of her new piercing studio! She’s waiving all piercing fees, there will be tiny tattoos for your ears, and it’s a chance to support a Black Woman and LGBTQ+ owned business! 🏳️🌈
And speaking of Pride plans that require significantly more planning than my weekend... we're sending one lucky winner to LadyLand Festival in NYC 🌟 The full package with Kim Petras, Romy, CupcakKe, VIP passes, a hotel stay in Williamsburg, and a $600 travel credit. Enter now for an adventure.*
JUST ANNOUNCED
Stewart Copeland brings Have I Said Too Much to The Heights Theater on June 14, sharing stories from The Police, rock history, and beyond. Enter to win tickets.*
From Tadow to Mystery Lady, Masego brings his genre-bending sound to House of Blues Houston on August 7. Expect vibes, vocals, and saxophone-induced happiness. Grab your tickets soon!
Houston favorites Graham Weber and Jonathan Terrell trade songs, stories, and songwriting secrets at Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe on August 13. Bring your listening ears and stay for the banter.
Phantom AD joins forces with Flower Graves on September 5 for a dreamy, reverb-soaked night of psych rock, shoegaze textures, and beautifully loud guitars. Lose track of time.
Denny Love brings the Show Love Tour to House of Blues Houston on December 19 with sharp comedy, big personality, and the same charm that's made him a fan favorite on screen. Come laugh a little.
Plus other just announced shows in Houston!

AEW DYNAMITE & COLLISION AT SMART FINANCIAL CENTRE
The stars of AEW Dynamite & Collision are headed to Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land on June 17 for a night packed with rivalries, shocking moments, and nonstop action in the ring. Expect loud crowds, dramatic entrances, and plenty of opportunities to lose your voice.*
LOCALS ONLY
Houston’s World Cup party just got a major addition ⚽🎶 Grammy-winning DJ Diplo has officially been announced as the opening-night headliner for Pitch Live at the Ranch, a new World Cup entertainment hub coming to EaDo. The venue will transform the former Warehouse Live site into a destination for match watch parties, live music, food, drinks, and more throughout the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
While city leaders say EaDo will be ready for the influx of fans, many locals are side-eyeing the ongoing construction, road closures, and traffic. Houstonians are treating the situation like a citywide roast session in the comments. 😭
