Hey my Houston hotties. I warned you yesterday about the rain and I hope you take it with a grain of salt because I’m clearly not a professional weather girl. At least not officially. But don’t let that rain on your parade.. lol, get it? Because we have too many good things happening this week, including the Art Car Parade, and a solid mix of indoor plans to keep things fun.
One of those indoor options is Ballyhoo! and Bumpin Uglies at The Heights Theater on April 23. You can enter to win tickets, so now you really have no excuse not to go.*
JUST ANNOUNCED
Stockman Wines is popping up at Katy Sip & Stroll on April 25. Stop by the Stockman Wines activation, mention this Do713 ad, and follow @StockmanWine! The first 25 visitors will take home a free Stockman-branded bottle stopper. Bring a friend and let’s get (respectfully) tipsy.*
Meet Me @ The Altar hits White Oak Music Hall on August 5 at 7 PM. This energetic, nostalgic Black pop punk band will have you feeling every teenage emotion all over again. Meet me at the mosh pit?
Nine Vicious hits House of Blues Houston on August 12 at 7 PM. This is one of those shows you feel more than you watch. Get your tickets now and be there when it goes off.
Sincere Engineer takes over White Oak Music Hall on August 22 at 7 PM. No frills, just a solid live show that actually hits. Lock in your spot.
Plus other just announced shows from Wic Whitney, Weatherday, and more!
FREE STUFF FRIDAY, AGAIN?!
Free Stuff Friday is back and this is your chance to actually win something good. From concert tickets to exclusive giveaways, there’s a lot worth entering this week. If you’ve been thinking about going out more but haven’t made plans yet, start here. It takes two seconds to enter, and you never know what you might end up scoring.

THIS WEEKEND
HOUSTON’S BEST DIRTY MARTINIS
I had to tap my lawyer friend, Maddie Poole, for this one because no one takes a dirty martini more seriously. When she says extra dirty, she means it, like borderline concerning levels of olive juice. After years of ordering the same drink all over Houston, she came with strong opinions and zero hesitation. So if you’re a fellow dirty girl who judges a bar by their martini, this list is for you.

If you’re choosing not to do anything that requires the outdoors, then you should follow the list of dirty martinis in Houston and send me which one was your favorite (and a drunk selfie, pleaseeee)
